SUMMARY:Webinar: Affirmative Action and OFCCP Compliance: Expanded VEVRAA\, Section 503 and Audit Responsibilities
DESCRIPTION:WEBINAR DESCRIPTION\n\nThe Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) remains in a very active pattern\, introducing new and updated regulations and generally expanding responsibilities for contractors preparing for audits. This presentation will offer a refresher on two recent regulations introduced by the OFCCP that became effective on March 24\, 2014. The two regulations\, promulgated under authority of the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) and Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 503)\, significantly increase the affirmative action plan (AAP) requirements of federal contractors with respect to veterans and individuals with disabilities.\n\n\n\nLikewise\, on September 30\, 2014\, the OFCCP released a new and expanded audit scheduling letter which significantly impacts the contractor community. This new document is a very definite expansion of responsibilities\, including the following:\n\n \n\n	Compensation data\, including base pay\, merit pay\, bonuses\, overtime\, actual hours worked and location\n	Documentation of outreach and recruitment efforts for qualified individuals with disabilities\, as well as analytics regarding the relative success rate of this outreach\n	Number of disabled applicants and the number of openings filled\, as well as the revised utilization analysis demonstrating disabled representation in the contractor's workforce\n	Documentation and statistical analysis regarding outreach to and accommodation of qualified protected veterans\n	Hiring benchmarks for veterans
