| Learn What the FAR PLA Proposed Rule Means for ABC Federal Contractors Date: Thursday, Aug. 25 Time: 3 p.m. Speakers: Maury Baskin, Littler Mendelson and Ben Brubeck, Vice President of Regulatory, Labor and State Affairs, ABC National Moderator: Michael Altman, Manager of Federal Regulatory Affairs, ABC National On Aug. 18, the Federal Acquisition Regulation Council issued a proposed rule, FAR Case 2022-003, Use of Project Labor Agreements For Federal Construction Projects, which will eventually implement President Biden’s Feb. 4, 2022, Executive Order 14063, which mandates project labor agreements on federal contracts of $35 million or more. Maury Baskin and Ben Brubeck will provide an overview of the controversial proposal and its impact on ABC federal contractors, discuss the process for submitting comments on the rule and outline next steps regarding ABC industry outreach and educational materials.
