Employment is often the magnet that attracts individuals to reside in the United States illegally.  The Immigration Reform and Control act was passed to remove this magnet by requiring employers to hire only individuals who may legally work in the United States.  Part of an employer’s responsibility of complying with the law is to complete and retain a Form I-9, Employment Verification Form.

During the webinar, Navigating the Form I-9, subject matter experts from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will step through each section of the Form I-9.  Attendees will be given best practices for proper completion as well as advice on how to avoid common mistakes and discrimination during the employment verification.
